Technical resources

The club is compiling online resources for members and visitors.

If you know of a web site or forum that we should list - or a different catery of kinds of sites (i was thinking of motorsport and restoring magazines), please drop us an email.

As we're relying on other sites and resources to stay online, it's possible that some sites or forums are not always accessible.

a library

The club used to have a collection of Toyota manuals that it loaned out to members. We've sort-of lost track of where most of them went... oops.

So, we like to rebuild something of a library of manuals - both held by the club, and of club members willing to allow other club folk to photocopy relevant parts of manuals.

If you feel brave enough to let folkknow that you have manuals for loaning or just for photocopyin,mg just drop one of the committee members an email.

The collection currently stands at:

  • Carina/Celica chassis manual (1973)
  • 18R engine manual
  • 4M engine manual
  • 21R/22R engine manual
  • Carina/Celica chassis manual (1981)
  • Celica repair manual (Chilton 1986–93)

technical articles

If you've documented some kind of modification or a common (or perhaps costly) mechanical repair... and you'd like to share it with ther club members - please feel free to send in an article. It can be a PDF file, word file or even a just a bunch of images and some words in an email.
